Description | The Knowledge Consistency Checker (KCC) was unable to form a complete spanning tree network topology. As a result the following list of sites cannot be reached from the local site. Sites: <site list>. |
Event Information | According to Microsoft: EXPLANATION: The Knowledge Consistency Checker (KCC) could not find domain controllers in any other site. This event is logged after an NTDS KCC 1311 event and should be used to help troubleshoot that event. USER ACTION: Use the Active Directory Sites and Services snap–in to resolve this problem. Try one or all of the following: 1. Verify that the sites are connected by site links. 2. Verify that each site within the domain has a path through the site links to other sites within the domain. 3. Ensure that at least one bridgehead server for the domain is reachable and replicating in that site. User Action:2. Use Active Directory Sites and Services to perform one of the following actions: - Publish sufficient site connectivity information so that the KCC can determine a route by which this directory partition can reach this site. This is the preferred option. - Add a Connection object to a domain controller that contains the directory partition in this site from a domain controller that contains the same directory partition in another site. If neither of the Active Directory Sites and Services tasks correct this condition, see previous events logged by the KCC that identify the inaccessible domain controllers. |
