| Event Information | If you run the Repair option from the SharePoint Portal Server 2001 installation CD-ROM after you have installed SharePoint Portal Server Service Pack 1 (SP1), the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service may start normally but the SharePoint Portal Server service and IIS Admin service may remain stopped. In addition, the following event ID message may be logged in your servers Event Viewer logs.(16385 in application log, 7000 & 7009 in servers system log with source as Service Control Manager) RESOLUTION: To resolve this issue, rerun SharePoint Portal Server SP1 setup program and choose the upgrade operation. When you do so, the errors listed will be corrected. |
