| Event Information | According To Microsoft: Cause: sp_grantlogin is used to allow a Microsoft Windows NT user or group account to connect to Microsoft SQL Server using Windows Authentication. sp_grantlogin has failed to update the sysxlogins table and the specified user or group still cannot connect to Microsoft SQL Server. Resolution: Try the command again. If the command still fails, use SQL Profiler to see exactly where the failure is occurring and if there are additional errors that show up in the SQL Profiler trace. |
