| Event Information | If the service is running stop it, set the Startup Type to Manual or Disabled, and reboot the server. Stopping the "Removable Storage" service will allow Backup Exec (tm) and its drivers to take control of the device and cut down on any hardware conflicts that may be occurring between Backup Exec and Windows. If at anytime the device needs to be used by Windows, the "Removable Storage" service will need to be restarted, all of the Backup Exec services stopped and set to Manual and the server rebooted. |
