Cause :
This event is logged when the AD_TERM schema validation failed while performing an LDAP add or modify operation on the following schema object.
Resolution :
Correct the schema extension script, and retry
An inappropriate schema modification was attempted. The change was rejected and not commited to the Active Directory database. This failure does not affect the health of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
If the schema change is necessary, correct the schema extension script, and then attempt to run it again.
Verify :
After a schema extension, check Event Viewer for Event ID 1536. If you find this event after an attempt to extend the schema, the attempt failed.
To verify a valid schema extension by using Event Viewer:
  1. Open Event Viewer. To open Event Viewer, click Start. In Start Search, type eventvwr.msc, and then press ENTER. If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.
  2. Expand Applications and Services Logs, and then click Directory Service.
  3. Click Find, type 1536, and then click Find Now. Click Find Next to advance to the next event as necessary.
  4. Confirm that there are no Critical, Error, or Warning events related to the schema that occurred after the schema extension. To locate events that are related to the schema, click Find, type DS Schema, and then click Find Next.
