Event Information | Event ID 268 and 14 Messages May Be Logged in the Application Event Log CAUSE: This issue can occur if a user who was previously enabled for the Wireless Mobility functionality in Active Directory has been disabled, but they continue to place items in the wireless devices folder in their Exchange mailbox. In this case, Mobile Information Server continues to attempt to push messages to the device. WORKAROUND: This message can be ignored if the user was disabled for Wireless Mobility on purpose. However, it is recommended that you contact the user who is specified in the event message and instruct them to remove any rules that forward messages to their devices folder for the device that is no longer being used for Wireless Mobility. |
