| Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when virtual machine cannot delete snapshot. Resolution: Check permissions and retry snapshot delete Ensure that you have the appropriate permissions to the snapshot file/directory ( by default %systemdrive%\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Hyper-V\Snapshots), and that it is not currently in use. Then, try to delete it manually. A snapshot in Hyper-V is a file-based snapshot of the state, disk data, and configuration of a virtual machine at a specific point in time. Verify : The snapshot operation succeeds when retried. |
