Description | An unknown event %1 was signaled. The reported event does not appear in storage. If you recently installed an application filter, this may be the source of the error. Remove any application filters that have been installed recently. If this does not solve the problem, reinstall ISA Server. |
Event Information | According To Microsoft: An unknown event may be triggered for several reasons, such as: Storage corruption.A newly created event is triggered before the ISA Server Control service reads it from storage. A service or filter error occured (signaling a false GUID). Resolution: If a backup exists, use the backup to restore the configuration. For details about restoring the configuration, see ISA Server Help.If this does not solve the problem, uninstall ISA Server using the Add/Remove Programs option available from Control Panel. When you uninstall, you lose all the configuration parameters and you have to reinstall ISA Server. Reinstalling ISA Server without uninstalling the previous copy does not resolve this problem |
