Description | The Firewall service stopped because an application filter module %1 generated an exception code %3 in address %2 when function %4 was called. To resolve this error, remove recently installed application filters and restart the service. |
Event Information | EXPLANATION: The Firewall Service failed to initialize because of a corrupted registry. USER ACTION: If a backup exists, in ISA Management click Servers and Arrays, then right-clickName, and choose Restore. This restores the configuration, except for server-specific configuration information, such as cache content. If this does not solve the problem, uninstall ISA Server from Control Panel. When you uninstall, you lose all the configuration parameters and you have to reinstall ISA Server. Reinstalling ISA Server without uninstalling the previous copy does not resolve this problem. Close other programs that are running. Use the Task Manager to check programs and processes that are using large amounts of system resources. Verify that Active Directory is working. |
