Description | Host Integration Server Host Account Cache Stopped. |
Event Information | "According To Microsoft" CAUSE: The SnaDatabase service and the SnaPMP service do not start when the NetGetDCName function call returns an error. The NetGetDCName function call is used to locate the primary domain controller (PDC) emulator for the Microsoft Windows domain. This problem may occur when the Windows Server 2003 Net Logon service enters a paused state during the directory service startup. During this time, the domain controller responds to netlogon ping requests with a "netlogon paused" response. This may cause the NetGetDCName function call to return an error. Reference Links | FIX: The SNA Host Account Cache service and the SNA WinNT Account Synchronization service may not start automatically when you restart a domain controller that is running Windows Server 2003 |
