| Event Information | According to Microsoft: Cause: Clients need to install or upgrade the correct version of Windows Automatic Update software. Resolution:Update Agent Failure Clients are not installing updates. This may be because of configuration issues. Possible resolutions include: Check the default DCOM impersonation level on the Windows 2000 client. 1.Start dcomcnfg.exe (in the 2.The Distributed COM Configuration Properties window appears. 3.Click the Default Properties tab. 4.Make sure that Enable Distributed COM on this computer is selected. 5.Make sure that Default Impersonation Level is set to Identify.
