Description | The virtual machine cannot be started because the virtual network adapter is configured to use a network that is unavailable. To fix this problem, modify the virtual machine settings to reconfigure the network adapter and then try to start the virtual machine again. |
Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when virtual machine cannot be started because the virtual network adapter is configured to use a network that is unavailable. Resolution : Change the switch port of the NIC Turn Off the virtual machine. Note: Turning off a virtual machine is equivalent to powering off a computer, so data loss is possible. Change the virtual machine NIC settings to point to a different/valid switch port, and then restart the virtual machine. Verify : The virtual machine starts and runs network operations without any problems. |
