Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: This problem may occur if one of the following conditions is true. 1. The user account that you are using does not have sufficient permissions to the Temp folder, or the system variable for the Temp folder is not configured correctly. 2. The Schema may be modified on this Domain Controller check box is not selected on the domain controller where you are trying to update the schema. 3. A domain controller was not correctly removed from the Active Directory directory service forest. 4. Trying to install the ADC from a domain that has only one domain controller, and the domain previously had two or more domain controllers. This information from some newsgroups may help you: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is an Active Directory internal event. Internal events appear in the Event Viewer only when the default logging level is changed. Most internal events are for informational purposes only. This event is logged when Active Directory cannot find the directory partition container object. Restart this domain controller.
