| Event Information | "according To Veritas:" Details: Attempting to connect to the same resource with different credential, an error message stating that the credentials supplied conflict with an existing set of credentials will be displayed in the Event Viewer on the Backup Exec machine. Possibility 1: There may already be an account with the same name on the other domain or workstation, but one that uses a different password. Possibility 2: The user is logged on as DomainA\User Name, and has no account on DomainB. Unless DomainA is a trusted domain for DomainB it would have to rely on guest rights or secure an account DomainB\UserName with the same password that is on DomainA account. The Backup Exec service account can be found using the Control Panel > Services (on Windows NT 4.0) or the Programs > Administrative > Services (on Windows 2000) |
