| Event Information | On your computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, many event messages that are similar to this are logged in the application log in Event Viewer. CAUSE: Event 12002 is a generic IMAIL error. This error event may appear if a user tries to access an e-mail message that has become corrupted. Exchange Server logs this error during typical operation, even if the diagnostic logging level is set to None on the Exchange server.
