Description | The ring buffer that stores incoming keyboard data has overflowed (buffer size is configurable via the registry). |
Event Information | Explanation: This event record indicates that the buffer that stores
keystrokes filled up before you stopped typing. It means you entered data faster
than the application could process it. Some of the keystrokes were lost. User Action: Wait until the application has processed the stored keystrokes, and then enter more data. Be careful not to type too far ahead. If you get this message often, the buffer size should be increased as follows: <p>Use the Registry Editor (REGEDT32.EXE) to edit the following entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/i8042prt/Parameters Make the value for KeyboardDataQueueSize and/or MouseDataQueueSize larger. |
