The following information is part of the event: Product: Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 Enterprise Edition -- Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action CA_AdminObjects_ConfigureService, location:<path>, command: "Computer\Administrator" , (NULL), (NULL), (NULL), (NULL), (NULL).

Event InformationCAUSE 1: This behavior occurs because changes are made to the database schema during setup of BizTalk Server 2002 SP1 that are not compatible with BizTalk Server 2002 for the database setup process.

According to Microsoft:
CAUSE 2.:

This problem occurs because the Server service is not started. You must have the Server service installed and running to install Commerce Server 2002.
RESOLUTION:
1.Verify whether the Server service is installed. To do this, type the following command at a command prompt, and then press ENTER:
net start server
If this command does not return an error message, the Server service is installed and is started. You can install Commerce Server 2002. However, if you receive the following error message, you must install the Server service (steps 2 through 7):
The service name is invalid
2. Click Start, right-click My Network Places, and then click Properties.
3. Right-click your network connection, and then click Properties.
4. Click Install.
5. Click the Service icon, and then click Add.
6. Click File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks, and then click OK.
7. Click OK again to close the Select Network Service dialog box.
