Description"Product: WebFldrs -- Error 1704. An installation for VERITAS NetBackup Client is currently suspended. You must undo the changes made by that installation to continue. Do you want to undo those changes?"
Event InformationAccording To Veritas:
Details:

Some installations of NetBackup, after being installed and working correctly, may appear to uninstall without administrator or user intervention.

This issue is actually caused by an incomplete installation of NetBackup.
This occurs primarily when NetBackup is installed via Terminal Services and open files are present during installation. When an installation requires a reboot, it is usually due to an open file, as shown in this line of the installation log:
Info 1603.The file C:\WINNT\system32\msvcp60.dll is being held in use. Close that application and retry.

When a file is in use, Windows Installer adds entries to the following keys in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\InProgress
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\RunOnceEntries
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\FileRenameOperations

This is because an incomplete installation will leave the registry keys behind. Normally, the 11704 message would present itself as a dialog box, however, due to the way Terminal Services works, dialog boxes are generated on the console, not the Terminal Services session. Therefore, a user logging in to Terminal Services will never see the dialog box and, without input, the Installer will roll back the failed installation so that it may continue with the product installation that is being attempted.
This then creates the impression that NetBackup has uninstalled itself.
