Description | System Restore monitoring was disabled on all drives |
Event Information | This Information From One Group May Help You… 1. check that the System Restore and Task Scheduler Services are running? From Start>Run type 2. services.msc 3. Then scroll down the list to each of those Services and make sure that Started is in the Status column. 4. It may be that one or more of the System Restore files have become corrupt. 5. You will have to turn System Restore off/on - although you will lose any existing checkpoints that may be still in place: 6. Right click on My Computer and select Properties>System Restore. Enable 7. Turn off System Restore on all drives - then reboot your PC. 8. Go back into SR and disable Turn off... and then reboot again. After the second reboot you should have one new checkpoint and SR should work properly after that. |
