| Event Information | Resolution 1:.The solution is to temporarily stop the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI, winmgmt) service. But life in the computer world is never that clear and dry L … because when you stop the WMI service it also stops the Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) (sharedaccess) service. This is not ideal and leaves the machine vulnerable so it would be desirable for the machine to drop its network connection just prior to shutting down its firewall. Resolution 2.A script, tvf1.cmd was developed to address both the primary and secondary problems.
