| Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : The update request for an A record could not be completed. Possible causes include: 1)There is no network connectivity. 2)The zone file is not configured to accept updates. 3)The zone could not be found. 4)The server is unavailable. Resolution : Confirm that the zone has updates enabled, that the DNS server the client is pointing to can recursively resolve the name that needs to be registered, and that the network is functional. Because this error can be caused by timeouts, wait to see whether this error resolves itself. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This error may be reported when a network card has been disabled from the system. |
