Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when the DNS Client service could not start because the Service Control Manager could not be updated. Resolution : Restart the computer The Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service did not respond to requests from the DNS client. The computer must be restarted to restart the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and DNS Client services. To restart the computer:
Check the event log, and verify that there are no DNS client events in the Event ID range 11000 through 11007. Check that the following events exist for the domain name that is being used for the DNS client:
