Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when Windows could not record the Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP) information for the Group Policy extension. Resolution : Correct a Group Policy extension reporting failure The following Group Policy client-side extensions provide instructions to further diagnose the problem: Scripts : Use Scripts client-side extension troubleshooting procedures to further diagnose the problem. Software Installation : Use Software Installation client-side extension troubleshooting procedures to further diagnose. The following Group Policy client-side extensions do not provide additional troubleshooting information at this time:
Group Policy applies during computer startup and user logon. Afterward, Group Policy applies every 90 to 120 minutes. Events appearing in the event log may not reflect the most current state of Group Policy. Therefore, you should always refresh Group Policy to determine if Group Policy is working correctly.
