| Event Information | The cluster service attempted to bring the share online but the attempt to create the share failed.
RESOLUTION: Make sure the Server service is started and functioning properly. Check the path for the share. Check ownership and permissions on the directory. Check the system event log for details. Also, if diagnostic logging is enabled, check the log for an entry related to this failure. Use the net helpmsgerrornumber command with the error code found in the log entry. |
