| Event Information | This error could only be originated from a shell API that sets new redirection location in
the registry. Check event log for any problems with user profile. If user profile failed to
oad there could be some issues with using temporary user profile. If there are no issues with user profile, then verify permissions on the registry keys: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders You can do it using regedit on XP and above. On Windows 2000 you will have to use regedt32. The registry keys above should have read/write permissions for current user. |
