Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when DHCP server was unable to create or lookup the DHCP Administrators local group on this computer. Resolution : Restart the DHCP Server service To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Administrators group, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. To restart the DHCP Server service: 1.At the DHCP server computer, click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK. 2.Double-click DHCP Server. 3.On the General tab, click Stop, and then click Start. 4.On the File menu, click Exit. Verify : Confirm that event 20035 has not been recently logged in the System event log. To open the System event log: 1.Click Start, click Administrative Tools, click Event Viewer, and then click Continue. 2.Expand Windows Logs, and then click System. 3.Verify that event 20035 has not been logged recently. |
