| Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: This problem can occur because during the SMS 1.2 client installation, the SMS Client Configuration Manager (CCM) attempts to install the SMS SNMP Trap Translator on any Microsoft Windows NT client on which the SNMP agent is installed. However, the SMS 1.2 SNMP Trap Translator is not supported on Windows 2000. RESOLUTION: A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. |
