Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: This error can be caused if Outlook clients that are connecting to the Exchange 2000 server are configured with both the Internet E-mail and Microsoft Exchange Server services in the same client profile. With this configuration, the client downloads mail using a POP3 session. During the POP3 session, if an attempt is made to download a message that has previously been deleted from the mailbox, the Event ID 1023 is generated in the Application event log. RESOLUTION: To resolve this issue: 1. Start Outlook. 2. On the Tools menu, click Services. 3. Click Internet E-mail, and then click Remove. 4. Save the changes.
