Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when DHCPv6 initialization has failed on the computer with the error code specified. Resolution : Reconfigure TCP/IPv6 TCP/IPv6 might be misconfigured. To diagnose and repair the TCP/IP configuration: 1.Click Start, right-click Network, and then click Properties. 2.Under Tasks, click Manage Network Connections. 3.Right-click the interface you want to repair, and then click Diagnose :. 4.This will diagnose and repair any configuration issues. Verify : To verify that address conflicts have been resolved: 1.At the DHCP-enabled client computer, click Start, in Start Search type cmd, and then press ENTER. 2.To verify a DHCP client lease, type ipconfig /all to view lease-status information. 3.The output of the ipconfig command should show an IPv4 or IPv6 address marked "preferred." |
