| Event Information | According to Microsoft: EXPLANATION: The requested address cannot be obtained because it is in use elsewhere on the network. Only one usage of each address is permitted. The "address" refers to the local "socket name", which is comprised of the following three elements: protocol, port-number, and IP address. USER ACTION: Check that network address settings for the client are correct for the local network. Assign a different fixed network address to the client. Contact your network administrator for further assistance in resolving address duplication on the local network. Do not run two server applications of the same type on the same computer. For instance, this error occurs if you try to run two applications that connect to one FTP server. |
