Event Information | Explanation : This event indicates that when a POP3 client made an attempt to access a mailbox on the Exchange server, the attempt failed because of a logon failure. The error 0x52e translates to ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE. This error occurs because the value in the User Logon Name (Pre-Windows 2000) box does not match the value in the Mailbox Alias box. User Action : Verify that the Mailbox Alias value and the User Logon Name (Pre-Windows 2000) value match Enter the logon credentials in the format DomainName\LogonName\MailboxAlias when you are connecting through POP3. |
