Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This event is logged when the virtual machine cannot be backed up while it transitions from one poewr state to another power state. Resolution : Check virtual machine state If you were trying to take a VSS snapshot, try manually saving the virtual machine and then retry the VSS snapshot operation. If you were trying to restore a VSS snapshot, try turning off the virtual machine manually and then retry the restore operation. If you tried an abort of the writer operation or if the backup application has crashed, set the virtual machine to the running state manually and then try the backup operation again after the state transition is completed. Verify : The integration services are all shown in a running state in the service control manager of the virtual machine. All the guest Hyper-V drivers are in a healthy state. Additionally, any operations that involve the integration services complete successfully. |
