Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This Error event indicates that an attempt to move a Microsoft® Exchange Server mailbox failed. The error message specifies the cause of this event. Resolution : To resolve this error, follow these steps: 1.Use the error message specified in the event description to help you diagnose the problem. For example, an error message that reads "Access Denied" may indicate a problem with administrative permissions. 2.Review the Application log for other events that occurred at the same time as this event to help determine the cause. For example, if there was another event that informed you of a problem contacting a specific server, that may indicate a problem with network connectivity. You can use the Ping or PathPingcommand-line tools to test basic connectivity from the server running Exchange Server to one of the domain controllers. Use Ping to isolate network hardware problems and incompatible configurations. Use PathPingto detect packet loss over multiple-hop trips. 3.Review the Application log on the other server involved in the mailbox move action. For example, if the error is related to the Microsoft Exchange Information Store (MSExchangeIS) service on another server, check the Application log on the other server for MSExchangeIS events that may provide more information about this error. |
