Event Information | According to Microsoft : Cause : This Error event indicates that Microsoft Exchange cannot read the registry key value for the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) port that is used by the Microsoft Exchange EdgeSync service to connect to the Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) directory service. Because Microsoft Exchange cannot read the SSL port value from the registry key, the connection attempt will be made to the default secure LDAP port for ADAM, which is TCP port 50636. Resolution : To resolve this error, do one or more of the following: 1.If the Edge Transport server is using the default port 50636, no action is required. 2.If the SSL port value was modified on the Edge Transport server after it was subscribed to an Active Directory site, resubscribe the Edge Transport server. 3.Review other related Error and Warning events in the Application log. These related events may help you find the root cause of this error. |
