| Event Information | Situation: After installing Norton AntiVirus 2005, when you restart the computer, you see the error message: "Stop 0x0000050 (0xffffffff, 0x00000001, 0xb399752b, 0x00000000) page_fault_in_nonpaged_area - savrt.sys.Solution: This problem has been reported to Symantec Technical Support. At this time, we do not know the exact cause or contributing factors to this problem. We will update this document when new information or a solution is found. Follow the steps in this workaround to find the file that is causing the problem and add it to exclusions. |
