Description | %1: The IsAlive check for this resource failed. |
Event Information | "According To Microsoft:" CAUSE:: The cluster service checks for the presence of the other node by trying to communicate with it. This event indicates that the Cluster Service failed the ISALIVE check for the named resource. This failure could be because the other node may not be reachable from this node or because that node is really down for some reason. Check the named node to ensure that all the services have been started. Verify that the service for the resource is functioning properly and that the server is not under high stress. User Action: If the named other node is actually running and the appropriate services are started, check why the communication to that node is failing. The problem could be as simple as a Network Cable that has become loose. Or it could be something more subtle like TCP/IP not being bound to that NIC card. |
