| Event Information | According to Microsoft: Cause: The support for the socket type has not been configured on the system or no implementation for it exists. Resolution: Check that the correct transport protocol (for example, Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), User Datagram Protocol (UDP)) is selected for use with the current application and with the Firewall service. For developers, handle the request as a non-fatal error (if possible), since some WinSock calls can legally fail the request. |
