Description | The CsBridgeConnector service was unable to access the UOmni mailbox on the Exchange partner server. |
Event Information | "According To Cisco: First, you should verify that the mailbox exists in Active Directory. Open up Active Directory Users and Computers on the Cisco Unity Bridgehead server, and search for the UOmni_<Servername> account in the container where default Cisco Unity objects are created (this would be the container you chose when running the Cisco Unity Permissions Wizard prior to installation). If you can not find the UOmni_<Servername> mailbox, you will need to recreate it. Refer to your Cisco Unity Bridge Networking Guide for details on using ConfigMgr.exe to create the UOmni_<Servername> mailbox. If the mailuser does exist, be sure to verify that the UOmni_<Servername> mailbox is pointing to the correct Homeserver value. In the past we have seen problems when administrators migrate their Exchange partner server information from one server to another, and the Unity subscriber information does not get updated properly to point to the new partner Exchange server. To verify that the account has the correct Homeserver value, you will need to run the Cisco Unity Data Link Explorer (CUDLE) tool. To run the tool, open up the Cisco Unity Tools Depot by double-clicking on the icon on the desktop of the Cisco Unity Bridgehead server. Under the Diagnostic Tools folder, youll see an entry for the Data Link Explorer; double click that option to launch CUDLE. Once open, select View from the menubar, and choose the Query Builder option. Type the following command into the text entry box: SELECT alias, homeserver FROM vw_subscriber WHERE alias LIKE UOmni_% Observe the value for the homeserver attribute on the UOmni_<Servername> mailbox, and if the value does not match the servername for the partner Exchange server, you will need to delete the existing UOmni_<Servername> mailbox, and re-create it. To delete the mailbox, re-open Active Directory Users and Computers, find the UOmni_<Servername> mailbo |
