| Event Information | Explanation Inbound and outbound packets that include a Fully Qualified Domain Name longer than 255 characters cannot be processed by Windows 2000 Server. Such packets usually remain in the queue until the queue is flushed. Also, directory paths and file names cannot exceed 255 characters. User Action Verify that domain names do not exceed 255 characters. For example, if you are running Gopher, the domain name for e-mail addresses should be less than 255 characters. Also, verify that all directory paths and file names are less than 255 characters. |
