Event Information | According to Microsoft: To resolve this problem, reset the DCOM permissions for authenticated users. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Component Services. 2. Expand Component Services, expand Computers, expand My Computer, and then expand DCOM Config. 3. Right-click Virtual Server, click Properties, and then click the Security tab. 4. In the Launch and Activation Permissions area, click Customize, and then click Edit. 5. In the Group or user names list, click Authenticated Users. 6. In the Permissions for Authenticated Users list, click to select the Allow check box next to Launch Permission, and then click OK. 7. In the Access Permissions area, click Customize, and then click Edit. 8. In the Group or user names list, click Authenticated Users. 9. In the Permissions for Authenticated Users list, click to select the Allow check box next to Access Permission, and then click OK. 10. Click Apply, click OK, and then quit Component Services. |
