Event Information | "According To Microsoft:" CAUSE: This issue occurs if one of the following conditions is true:• You have a Group Policy setting that disables the automatic startup of the World Wide Web Publishing Service component. • You have manually disabled the automatic startup of the World Wide Web Publishing Service component. WORKAROUND: To restore regular MMPC forwarding, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc in the Open box, and then click OK. 2. In the Services snap-in, verify that the World Wide Web Publishing Service component is started and that the Startup type setting is Automatic. 3. Click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open box, and then click OK 4. At the command prompt, change to the following directory: %systemdrive%\Windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework\V1.1.4322 5. Run the following command: aspnet_regiis.exe –i You receive the following output: Start installing ASP.NET (V1.1.4322) 6. After you receive the following output, close the command prompt: Finished installing ASP.NET (V1.1.4322) 7. In the Services snap-in, follow these steps: a. Stop the World Wide Web Publishing Service component. b. Stop the MOM to MOM Connector component. c. Start the World Wide Web Publishing Service component. d. Start the MOM to MOM Connector component. 8. Close the Services snap-in. |
