Event Information | According to Microsoft: CAUSE: This problem may occur if you use the Mailmig.exe command-line utility and if the NTAccounts parameter is set to NO in the control file. RESOLUTION: To work around this problem, use the graphical user interface (GUI) version of the Migration Wizard instead of the Mailmig.exe command-line utility. To start the Migration Wizard GUI, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click Migration Wizard. If you have already created new user accounts in the Microsoft Active Directory directory service for the accounts that you want to migrate, follow these steps: 1. In the control file, set the NTaccount parameter to RANDOM. 2. Click Start, click Run, and then type Mailmig.exe. 3. Click OK. 4. Wait for the Migration Wizard to create new accounts. 5. After the Migration Wizard has completed, use the Active Directory Cleanup Wizard (ADClean) to merge the accounts. |
