Description | matlabserver error: 0, lc_checkout() failed: -2, Invalid license file syntax (-2,134) |
Event Information | Resolution: There is a bug in the MATLAB Webserver that causes it to not work correctly with a dongled license. For a workaround, Please see the information below according to your MATLAB version: MATLAB 6.x (R12.x) and later: Remove the existing INCREMENT line for the MATLAB Web Server in the license.dat file in the $MATLAB\bin\win32 directory and put this one in its place ($MATLAB represents the MATLAB root directory): INCREMENT MATLAB_Web_Server MLM 12 01-jan-0000 0 1C5BF20248A75CE61CC4 HOSTID=ANY SN=ANY Be sure to save the file as license.dat as some text editors may add an extra .txt extension to it. After replacing the INCREMENT line, start the MATLAB Server from the Control Panel. Please note that you will not be able to run matlabserver -t with this workaround. MATLAB 5.3.x (R11.x): Remove the existing INCREMENT line for the MATLAB Web Server in the license.dat file in the $MATLAB\bin directory and put this one in its place ($MATLAB represents the MATLAB root directory): INCREMENT MATLAB_Web_Server MLM 5 01-jan-0000 0 0CF66B8E551828358B18 HOSTID=ANY PLATFORMS=i86_n3 Note that you will not be able to run matlabserver -t with this workaround. |
