| Event Information | CAUSE:
This error can occur if the MSDTC is not the correct version or there is a mismatch of versions between multiple computers running MSDTC. RESOLUTION: Upgrade the MSDTC service to the Windows NT SP4 version of DTC. The MSDTC service can be updated in one of the following ways: 1) Download the latest MSDTC from the following location: ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/distapps/MTS/Public- Fixes/usa/DTC/SvcPack/i386/dtcsetup.exe. 2) Install the NTOP on the SQL Server 6.5 computer. 3) Upgrade to Windows NT SP4 on the SQL Server 6.5 computer. |
