Event Information | According to Symantec : RESOLUTION This problem sometimes happens when the path to the service includes a folder name that has a space, such as in the ""Program Files"" folder name. To solve the problem, edit the registry to add quote marks to the value that is for the following registry key. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HostIDSAgent For instance, if the value of the key is: ""C:\Program Files\Symantec\Host IDS\bin\iidsagent.exe"" -service then add another set of quotes to the path.
