| Event Information | According to Symantec: Solution: The Event ID: 3 error message is logged by NAVGW when you allow Dynamic Host Name Configuration Protocol (DHCP) to assign a Domain Name System (DNS) server or have not set up a preferred DNS server within TCP/IP settings. To prevent this error, manually assign a DNS server. If manually assigning the DNS server does not solve the problem, uninstall TCP/IP and restart. Then reinstall TCP/IP and reboot again. |
