Event Information | According To Trendsmicro: Solution: The issue occurs because IWSS 2.0 failed to initialize the URLFiltering module. Resolve this issue using this procedure: 1. Do an nslookup on iwss.url.trendmicro.com; it should be resolved. 2. Try to ping iwss.url.trendmicro.com. --If both tests are successful, edit the urlfcIFX.ini file as follows: --vendor_host_name= 3. Save and close the file. 4. Update the URL filtering database and restart the services. If the issue still persists, do the following: 1. Back up the urlfcIFX.ini file under the C:\Trend Micro\IWSS\HTTP directory. 2. Open the said file and edit the entries as follows: use_hme_log=yes hme_log_file= C:\Trend Micro\IWSS\Log\URLfilter.log hme_log_level=9 cerbdver=0 cerbfver=0 cerbd_update_time=N/A cerbf_update_time=N/A 3. Save and close the file. 4. Make sure that the Trend Micro IWSS for HTTP service is stopped. 5. Back up and delete the contents of C:\Trend Micro\IWSS\UtilBin\HME. 6. Start the Trend Micro IWSS for HTTP service. 7. Perform an update on the URL filtering database. |
