Description | Array disk forced offline. |
More Information | This information from some newsgroups may help you: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CAUSE: A user has manually forced a physical disk in the array offline. ACTION: If the array disk is part of a non-redundant virtual disk, force the array disk online. Right-click the array disk in the Array Manager tree view and select the Online option. Be aware that if data was written to the non-redundant virtual disk while the array disk was offline, this data may be corrupt. If the array disk is part of a redundant virtual disk, then manually remove the array disk and reinsert it. Removing and reinserting the array disk causes the controller to automatically rebuild data from the redundant virtual disk. In this case, any data written to the redundant virtual disk while the array disk was offline will be restored. If the array disk is not displayed in the tree view after making it online, perform an I/O operation or a rescan. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
