DescriptionThe Gatherer object in project ExchangeServer_COMPUTERNAME priv5B0EC233 cannot be initialized. Error 0: - The operation completed successfully.
Event InformationCAUSE:
This problem may occur if you moved or deleted the GatherLogs folder for Microsoft Search Service.
RESOLUTION:
Note If you deleted the GatherLogs folder, create a new GatherLogs folder and then edit the Windows registry to point to the new location.
1. Quit Exchange System Manager if it is currently running.
2. Stop Microsoft Search Service. To do this:
   a. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
   b. Right-click Microsoft Search, and then click Stop.
3. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK, .
4. Locate and then click the following registry subkey, where COMPUTERNAME is the name of your server, and where privcatalog is the name of the catalog, for example, priv5B0EC233:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Search\1.0\Gather\ExchangeServer_<COMPUTERNAME>\priv<catalog number>
5. In the right pane, right-click StreamLogsDirectory, and then click Modify.
6. In the Value data box, type the valid path of the GatherLogs folder, and then click OK.
7. Follow steps 4 through 6 to for each catalog (privcatalog number) where the StreamLogsDirectory registry value of that catalog points to the incorrect location.
8. Quit Registry Editor, and then start Microsoft Search Service.
9. Start Exchange System Manager, and then expand the storage group that contains the mailbox store that contains the full-text index that you created.
