DescriptionException <value> was raised at address <address>.
Event InformationAccording to Microsoft:
EXPLANATION:
This event indicates that there was a problem starting the Active Directory Connector service. This event usually occurs when the ADC is started. This can occur if the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Rpc\ClientProtocols registry key is missing, or the ADC Service Account has no permissions to read the key. It can also occur if the Exchange Server name in the connection agreement is specified as a Fully Qualified Domain Name (instead of a NETBIOS name).
USER ACTION:
Restart the service. Check for sufficient disk space and memory. Check that the target directory and source directories are running. Ensure that the latest version of the ADC is installed. Ensure that the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Rpc\ClientProtocols registry key is present, and that the ADC Service Account has been granted permissions to read that registry key. Finally, check that the Exchange Server name in the connection agreement property pages has been specified as a NETBIOS name.
